Go Touch Some Grass

“Go Touch Some Grass” presents an artificial visual environment surrounding a screen, which shines appealingly, contrasting with the calmer and more “natural” space that surrounds it despite both of these being created digitally.

Formally, all of the objets shown were developed with 3D modelling, with a scene built that purposely invites the spectator to direct their focus towards the luminous inputs of the screen, regardless of the angle. The duality between the fake space (real) and the fake space (digital) of the screen describes the boredom for the real and the constant consumption we have for the digital, leaving the nature that surrounds us in second plane.

Applying the scene built to a poster support, asides from a static version, the movement was taken advantage of to present two perspectives towards the type of attention given to the objects, creating the pair of posters in motion, which, in an ironically advertising tone, emphasizes a speedy time passage within digital contents, comparatively with the smooth movement from the remaining elements.
